17 April 2011 - Regexp is retired
The Jakarta Regexp project is retired.
Due to a lack of development activity, the Jakarta Regexp project has been retired. No further Regexp
development or releases will happen at Jakarta.
Users are encouraged to use similar features in newer Java versions, such as java.util.regexp
