Over the years Jakarta has contained many projects, some of them are still with us and some of them have moved to become their own Apache projects. A few have reached a state where the community have decided that enough is enough and it's time to put them out to pasture. This page lists these retired projects.

Agila
|
Agila was a lightweight BPM engine that entered the Incubator under Jakarta's sponsorship, however its activity ended up moving to another incubating project - Ode.

java.apache.org
|
Many moons ago there was a java.apache.org project, with its main project being Apache JServ. For legal reasons the name Jakarta was preferred and its timing coincided with the replacement of JServ with Apache Tomcat. Archived information on JServ is still available at this url. |
